The Hammonton Gazette is a weekly local newspaper based in Hammonton, New Jersey. Founded in 1997 by Gabriel J. Donio, the newspaper focuses on local politics, businesses, and residents. It is published every Wednesday and distributed throughout Hammonton and its surrounding areas. The staff consists of approximately 30 people, led by publisher Gabriel J. Donio and editor-in-chief Gina L. Rullo.

The newspaper includes a "Neighbors" section that covers surrounding communities such as Waterford Twp., Folsom, and Vineland.

Staff[edit]

Gabriel Donio – Founder and publisher of The Hammonton Gazette. Donio is a graduate of Boston University and Georgetown University. He is the author of Images of America: Hammonton and has been recognized for his community involvement.

Gina Rullo – Editor-in-chief of The Hammonton Gazette. She is a graduate of Villanova University and has been named to the Atlantic County Women's Hall of Fame.

Dan Russoman – Sports editor of The Hammonton Gazette. He is a graduate of Trenton State College and has worked for several newspapers.

Hammy Awards[edit]

The Gazette annually presents the Hammy Awards in categories such as Restaurant, People, and Miscellaneous. Winners are announced in the anniversary edition in July.
