Hannah Holmes

Hannah Kristine Holmes (born July 8th, 2005) is an Eagle Scout, and the first female in Scouts BSA (also known as the Boy Scouts of America) to have earned every merit badge in the program.[1] Previously, only boys had earned this distinction.[2] Hannah earned all 137 merit badges[3] in November 2019, the first time a female achieved this since the Boy Scouts of America program formed in 1910.[4] To earn Eagle Rank, a Scout must achieve 21 merit badges.[5] These merit badges allow a Scout to become knowledgeable in a wide variety of skills, such as back-packing, horseback riding, and water skiing.[6] Hannah joined Scouts in February 2019 when girls were first allowed into the program.[7] It took her ten months to earn all of the merit badges and she earned Eagle Scout Rank in November 2020.
