Hans Jörg Meyer (AKA George Reyam) is a German songwriter and composer. He has worked extensively with Frank Farian, the creator of Boney M., and co-wrote many of Boney M’s biggest hits.

Background[edit]

Hans-Jörg Mayer met Frank Farian in Mayer's family electronics and record store the city of Elversberg in 1962. Hans-Jörg Mayer was Farian's co-author, and also played a role as a tour manager, song scout.[1] and right-hand man. Over decades the two musicians worked hand in hand, over ups and downs.

Hans-Jörg Mayer is responsible for the biggest Boney M hits under the pseudonym "George Reyam" as co-author of Frank Farian and Fred Jay and still collaborates with Farian, after more than 50 years[2]
