HappyEasyGo[1] is an online travel company founded in 2017. It offers domestic and international flight ticket bookings as well as hotel room bookings in India. By mid-2019, the company was on its way to become the number two online travel booking platform in India in terms of daily flight booking and Hotel Booking. In December 2019, Happyeasygo claimed to have a customer base of 10 million users[2]. Their offices are in Gurugram, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chengdu and Shanghai.

HappyEasyGo launched its hotel business in late 2018. While earlier featuring content from suppliers, it has leveraged its in-house technology to move to direct contracting with hotel partners.

Company campaigns

Happy Easy Go has launched various campaigns[3][4][5] in the past allowing its customers to avail attractive deals. One such campaign is the Fare Protection Service for Air Ticketing. It allows customers a lowest price guarantee with double refund for fare difference[6] [7].

Another popular campaign by the company is free cancellation & rescheduling[8] [9]. The company allows free flight rescheduling to help travelers manage their bookings amidst the outbreak. It also announced free flight cancellations on 24th March 2020 for its customers permitting them to conveniently cancel their flight bookings without paying hefty charges.

History

Happyeasygo was founded in 2017 by Boris ZHA[10], the CEO and founder of HappyEasyGo. Initially, the company solely focused on B2B and B2C flight ticket bookings, launching its hotel booking service in the latter half of 2018.
