Happy At Work
Happy at Work is an international company based in Sweden. It is an easy-to-use digital service where employees respond to an interactive survey within 10 seconds anonymously.[1] The service helps managers monitor employee well-being with a smart alarm alerting them to negative trends.
History
In 2015, Marcus Nordquist, who is CTO of Happy at Work, started with just an idea to monitor job satisfaction. This was then developed further together with CEO of the company, André François and designer Jens Östgaard in 2017. Their vision was to create a simple way of measuring the well-being of employees over time in organizations. Happy at Work was officially founded in 2018. Happy at Work opened an office in Budapest in 2019.[2]
Technology
Happy at Work is a SaaS hosting in Microsoft Azure. Backend development is done in .Net Core and frontend in Vue.js.
Reception/Awards
Happy at Work won both the creator prize (The Regional SKAPA-priset) and (The National SKAPA-priset) in 2018 in memory of Alfred Nobel in the category of "Young Innovators". The company also won the BrainBar Blastoff, a startup competition in Budapest, where the first prize was €150,000 worth in investment offer.[3][4][5] The company was also accepted into the International Growth and Mentoring program from Design Terminal with a paid scholarship and professional help to develop the company further.[6]
