Har Mod Par is an Indian drama serial that aired on Sahara One from March 2002 to June 2003. It played at 8:00 P.M. on weekdays. It was produced by Rakhi Vijan and directed by Jitendra Kumar and Rahul Mewawala.[1]
Plot[edit]
Har Mod Par discussed critical social issues, including such as child marriage and the practice of sati. The primary character is Hansa, a young girl who is forced into marriage at a very early age. Her husband dies the day before their wedding, making her a widow. Despite facing immense pressure, Hansa doesn't conform to traditional expectations of how a widow should behave. Instead, she stands against these societal ills.
