Hardox is a brand for abrasion-resistant steel (AR steel) owned and produced by SSAB in Sweden and USA.[1]
It is available in ten steel grades, where the number is the hardness as Brinell, HBW:[2][3][4]
- Hardox HiAce (for acid environment)
- Hardox HiTuf (against impact load)

- Hardox 450
- Hardox 500
- Hardox 500 Tuf
- Hardox 550
- Hardox 600
- Hardox Extreme (world's hardest wear plate with a hardness of 60 HRC Rockwell)
