Hardox is a brand for abrasion-resistant steel (AR steel) owned and produced by SSAB in Sweden and USA.[1]

It is available in ten steel grades, where the number is the hardness as Brinell, HBW:[2][3][4]

  • Hardox 500 Tuf

  • Hardox Extreme (world's hardest wear plate with a hardness of 60 HRC Rockwell)
