Harikrishna Punarooru

Harikrishna Punarooru or Harikrishna Punaroor is a hotelier, social worker[1] and religious activist from the Karavali region of Karnataka state, India (Bharat).[2] He is a native of Punaroor village in Mulki taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. He was president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat.[3] He organises many seminars, discourses, and symposia on Kannada literature and Hindu religion.[4] Harikrishna Punarooru has received many awards for his social, literary and religious work done by him[5] He received an honorary doctorate from Mangalore University during the 40th annual convocation held in April 2022.[6]
