Haris Karonis
Haris Karonis, born in 1974 in Athens, Greece, is the Founder and CEO of Viva Wallet Group. In late 2021 JP Morgan invested in Viva Wallet,[1] making Haris Karonis the founder and CEO[2] of the first Greek fintech unicorn.[3] Following this investment, the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, visited Haris Karonis[4] at the company's Headquarters. Haris Karonis was recently invited by the Greek parliament to talk about the investment at the Special Permanent Committee on Research and Technology in April 12, 2022.[5] In April 2022, Haris Karonis was invited to the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece to talk about the future of payments innovation.[6]
