Harish Kannan
Career[edit]
Harish Kannan is a cinematographer hailing from Chennai . He started his career as an assistant in many ad films/short films and movies while studying. He completed his under graduate degree with SRM university. Later he joined as an assistant to the ace cinematographer R.D.Rajasekhar.
He has assisted movies like Masss, Akira(Hindi), Irumugan in his early times and continued as an associate for movies like Imaikka Nodigal directed by the well known young film maker Ajay Gnanamuthu. He was the camera operator for Thambi.
He assisted for more than 10 films over six years before becoming an independent technician.

'Cobra' is his first movie as a cinematographer. Cobra is an upcoming Tamil-language thriller film directed by R.Ajay Gnanamuthu, starring Vikram and music composed by A.R.Rahman.
