Harris is an unincorporated community in North Township, Marshall County, Indiana.

Harris was originally called Harris Station; it contained a depot on the Vandalia Railroad.[3]

According to an 1890 Indiana history book, which calls it "Harris's Station", the place was "laid out and platted by John Seltenright, October 31, 1885. It has a grain elevator, store and postoffice, but will never be a very large village." [4]
