Harrison Henning Boe, later shortened to Harrison Boe[citation needed] (born May 7, 2001).[1] is an American singer/songwriter based out of Lincoln, Nebraska, who specializes in indie folk/pop.
Born and raised in Hickman, Nebraska, Boe began his journey by learning piano at the age of 12, taking after his mother, Gina Boe[1], a two-time Dove Award-winning songwriter[2][3]. He completed his secondary schooling at Norris Highschool[4]; while there, he participated in soccer, basketball[5], and show choir, where he was awarded 'best male vocalist' at the Lincoln East Spartan Spectacular[6]. After graduation, Boe would attend the University of Nebraska as a vocal performance major[7].
Records also show him attending the Lied Center for Performing Art's "Lied Center Triple Threat Broadway Intensive"[8].
His years at university were when he would release his first self-titled EP, "Harrison Henning Boe"[9]; the EP (released October 25, 2019) contained 6 songs. Eight months later[10], he released what would be his final single before his rebrand, "Hollywood"[11]. The artist later revealed that the rebrand had been a result of trying to avoid backlash, thinking that his early music was comparatively unpolished[7].
