Harrison James Hasouras (AUS Born 1 October, 1998) is an Australian streamer and digital content creator, creating content across multiple platforms including Twitch, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok & more. Commonly known as HarrisonJH, he is widely known from his instagram audience which exceeds over 45 thousand followers, which labels him as the number one most followed Oceania FIFA Graphic Designer. He streams daily on Twitch to his loyal follower base, often playing games where viewers can also join in & all have fun together. Harrison’s content career began in 2014, where he uploaded his first video to Youtube, what started off as a hobby in school eventually became something that could be much bigger. In 2018 Harrison made his first FIFA Instagram post, not knowing that within 3 months he’d surpass 10,000 followers then on to bigger milestones. Harrison quickly built a wide network of contacts through freelance graphic designing, working with a lot of highly famous content creators like ChrisMD, Castro1021, MattHDGamer, Hashtag United, F2 Freestylers & more. 2020 was the year Harrison delved into streaming, his first stream was on 10 January, 2020. Starting with laggy gameplay & streaming from his laptop to eventually completing a 48-hour charity stream & streaming every day. Known for his efforts to push the boundaries & start something new & explore new realms of social media, he often sparks new ideas which helps guide a lot of his community. Harrison is one of few initial FIFA Instagram creators to show his {less apropriate} face & create content outside of Instagram, it has seemed that he always wanted to grow this content creating hobby into something much bigger.

Early life

Harrison was born in Fitzroy, Melbourne Australia. He is the son of Georgina & John, he is also the brother to Siena & Isla. Harrison was conceived through IVF technology, it was a complicated pregnancy for his mother who had to spend a lot of time in hospital. At 30 weeks Georgina was admitted to hospital for complete bed rest due to several other complications that had emerged. One of the things they were concerned about was Harrison’s lung development. Georgina was given a steroid injection in hope that would flow through to Harrison. At 32 weeks Harrison was born, 8 weeks early on October 1, 1998 3:18am, at 2.22kg. Harrison was born with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and respiratory distress syndrome. With only a slim chance of Harrison surviving his parents had to pay for a medication that cost $10,000 & receive government approval. Fortunately they received the all clear, he spent the next 18 months in and out of hospital having different operations. His parents were told that he’d have a learning & mental disability & that he’d not be able to participate in any physical activity. Although this wasn’t the case growing up Harrison was a very active child, constantly playing outside & loved his sports. He picked up his love for Australian Football at a very young age, although his father encouraged him to play soccer (European Football), Harrison ignored & continued playing AFL.

Content Creation

Youtube Early Days

Harrison started making Youtube content March 2014, at the time Harrison’s channel name was ‘HJHAZZA’ the name was a combination of his first & second name initials & his nickname at the time. Harrison’s first videos were on the popular game FIFA 15 started as pack openings & daily tournaments to Real Life FIFA Celebrations. Harrison didn’t mind the bullying he received at school & rather took it on the chin & just welcomed the free incoming views he would receive from students & teachers. One of his main supporters when he started was Jordan also known as Salvaxed, who is still a good friend of Harrison’s & a regular feature in his content at the moment. He continued to upload all through 2014-15 on almost an every second day schedule. He uploaded regular series content by way of a Ultimate Team Road to Glory called ‘The Countdown’ & FIFA 15 Everton Career Mode. At the end of 2014 Harrison uploaded a montage of his best videos to show how far he had come, ‘Best of 2014’. In May 2015, Harrison posted a good old fashion goodbye video to his subscribers (since has been taken down), letting them know that he was quitting Youtube, to put all his focus into his schooling. Over the next few years there was a sporadic upload every now & then, but nothing consistent like how there had been previously.

Holiday Vlogging

Harrison picked up content creating again in late 2016 when he traveled to the United States of America with his Uncle & Auntie, for his end of schooling celebrations. He uploaded 22 vlogs from his trip overseas. Harrison’s most popular video came from the vlogging, it was the time he watched the New York Knicks win during overtime at Madison Square Garden, this video clocked over 11 thousand views. Harrison took another year away from Youtube focusing on his first year out of school & in the work field, at the end of 2017 we saw another holiday vlog. This time he traveled to Malaysia with his family, this compiled up to 7 new videos & a lot of fun experiences. 2018 saw Harrison travelling again again to Malaysia but also to Singapore. He traveled with his girlfriend Lisa at the time, Uncle & Auntie. Again & action filled holiday with the highlight of the trip being Lisa getting chased by Monkeys.

Bros Down Under

In late 2015 Harrison started a combined Youtube channel with his best mate Nathan. The channel was named Bros Down Under, which easily deconstructed means Brothers from Australia or Down Under which is often what Australia is called by everyone else. Harrison & Nathan had there go at creating funny skits, prank videos & much more. Their first video was an in real life reenactment of Manchester United vs West Ham United, reason being was because Harrison supported Manchester United & Nathan West Ham United, so they both believed it would make a good video. This involved them playing football in the local shopping centre, re-creating Wayne Rooney’s halfway line goal, Paolo Di Canio’s volley & if you watch the behind the scenes you will also see Harrison streak across the video. They continued to make videos for 6 months until they focused on their final year of school through-out 2016. All the videos have been made unlisted since, as the channel has been merged into the now The Ultimate Team Podcast Youtube channel, you can still find the old Bros Down Under playlist here.

Hashtag United / Theo Baker

Hashtag United is Harrison’s favourite football club alongside Manchester City, Hashtag United play a very unique role in Harrison's content creation growth. Harrison has been watching Hashtag United since they formed in March 2016. In 2017 Harrison tweeted, attaching a picture ‘Girlfriend knew what two things to get me for my 19th bday, she is a keeper!!’. The tweet gained a lot of interaction on Twitter leading to a lot of hate & foul language. Because of the hate & the fact it being his birthday, Spencer Owen & Seb Carmichael Brown co- founder’s of Hashtag United reached out to Harrison. Theo Baker, a player at Hashtag United at the time directly messaged Harrison saying happy birthday & to ignore the comments, this message & tweet is what helped Harrison grow. Later that same year, Theo tweeted that he was coming down to Melbourne in 2018, Harrison quickly messaged Theo to organise for them to meet & potentially film a video. The potential ended up becoming a reality in March 2018, Harrison, Nathan & Theo all filmed a Australia Football & Soccer video to go on Theo & Harrison’s channels. The video on Theo’s channel currently has 45 thousand views. Off the back of this video, Harrison continued to stay in contact with Theo eventually becoming one of Theo’s fist moderators on Twitch which then led to Harrison’s first graphic design client & Harrison starting his Instagram. When Harrison started football/FIFA instagram in 2018, alot of the posts were about Hashtag United. Harrison would make free Twitter banners for the players & an advent calendar in December 2018 to celebrate the love he has for Hashtag United. Hashtag United also played in the EE Wembley Cup, which helped Harrison find work with the F2 Freestylers, Rebel FC & AFC Sidemates. Following this Harrison spent the 2018-19 non-league season assisting Hashtag United with graphic design content for their match-day programme & Instagram posts, this helped Harrison grow on his platforms. He was also featured in Hashtag United’s programme as the weekly fan feature in November 2018. Harrison has continued to work with the club & their e-sports players very closely. Harrison has worked with current/ex e-sport players Harry Hesketh, Tom Leese, Alex Shaw, Ethan Higgins, Harry Blackmore, you’ll find quite a few of the Youtube thumbnails & Twitch assets used by them have been made by Harrison. In 2020 Hashtag United made their first venture in the FA Cup during the cup run, Harrison made a consistent effort to stream on Twitch a watchparty with other Hashtag United supporters. To this day Hashtag United’s loss in the second qualifying round is one of Harrison’s best streams, entertainment & number wise. Harrison has hinted that Hashtag United & himself are working on a Twitch collaboration in the future, we’re yet to hear the context of the collaboration. Harrison have in 2023 stopped supporting the male team of Hashtag United, and is now only supporting the Under 18 girls team, where his good friend Holly is playing full time (rumors have it she is planning to retire within the year).

Instagram & Graphic Design

October 12 2018, Harrison posted his first graphic on his Instagram not knowing where it would take him, at this stage he had less than 2 thousand followers. Follower milestones achieved were 10 thousand in March 2019, 20 thousand in June 2019, 30 thousand in September 2019, 40 thousand in July 2020. Instagram was Harrison’s main social media & in terms of following currently it is Harrison’s largest across all social media platforms. Some notable followers Harrison has are ChrisMD, Tim Cahill, SpencerFC just to name a few, the growth of his Instagram is what helped lead to all the graphic design clients he has had. Harrison has worked with a lot of popular names like ChrisMD, Castro1021, MattHDGamer, Hashtag United, F2 Freestylers & more. On Instagram, Harrison always pushed to need lengths in the FIFA design community, being one of the first to release a free assets drive (10 thousand follower milestone), FIFA design discord community (20 thousand follower milestone) & moving on to other platforms to produce extra content. Harrison aims to post daily content on Instagram in relation to FIFA but his goal is to make the page into a large content page directly about the content he makes across Twitch & Youtube. From 2023 onwards, Harrison will also be active on a new platform called 'Onlyfans', he also stated that he'd like to get into the p.rn scene.

Assets Drive

When Harrison hit 10 thousand followers in March 2019 & unlocked the swipe up link feature on stories, the first story he shared was a link to the new free assets drive which would help the FIFA design community. Very quickly the assets drive popularity grew, Harrison reaching thousands of link clicks a day. Harrison’s most popular asset is the EASPORTFIFA’s Ultimate Team cards created into a photoshop file for all to use, which gets updated frequently depending on FUT content. Within the next 6-12 months the assets drive scene became very saturated with almost every second account having their own after seeing the success Harrison had with his, unfortunately with the amount of drives out there now, a lot of the assets are stolen & copied from each other's drives.

The Ultimate Team Podcast

January 12, 2020 Harrison & his good friend Adam (Elitage) uploaded their first episode of The Ultimate Team Podcast, at the time there were not many FUT related podcasts so the two of them were very excited to delve into a new form of content & bring out weekly content to the community. Season 1 went on for 8 weeks until FIFA 20 slowly dropped off & content died, Harrison had noted that he had to wake up very early in the morning on Saturday’s to film, edit & upload the podcasts which wasn’t doing him any good in the long run, so a break before season 2 was very necessary. Season 2 started on August 30, 2020, with a full rebrand & structure to the podcasts Harrison & Adam were very motivated to push out weekly episodes & potential bonus episodes through-out the week. Season 2 lasted 7 weeks, while they both enjoyed recording the podcast the time difference & filming either very late at night or ridiculously early in the morning took its toll & they mutually came to the decision to stop. Through-out the time of the podcast they did film 2 guest episodes featuring FUTCrunch & LegacyFIFA.

Twitch Streaming

2020 was the year of Twitch streaming for Harrison, January 10, 2020 was Harrison’s first stream on Twitch. Starting out with FIFA content he streamed most days for 2 months, until FIFA hit a really dry patch. Harrison moved on to Grand Theft Auto V content but unfortunately the viewership numbers at the time were very low, although that wasn't a worry for Harrison. Due to COVID-19 Harrison had to remotely work from home, dismantling his home streaming setup to make sure he was able to work efficiently from home during lockdown. Harrison had to take a forced break from streaming until further in the year. August 16, 2020 Harrison made his comeback stream, streaming to over 40 viewers & this continuing on for a few weeks, he was making design streams which was very interesting at the time, in relation to FIFA Ultimate Team. It was good to see the new PC purchase was doing a good job & Harrison started streaming daily from there on in. Harrison’s notable streaming moments are all posted on his Instagram. Harrison’s biggest streams were the Hashtag United watchparties, 48- hour charity stream for suicide prevention & Harrison’s first follower milestone alcoholic shoey. Harrison continues to stream daily at about 10am GMT every day to his loyal community & mostly streams FIFA, Among Us, GeoGuessr, Minecraft & other variety games. Harrison stays very motivated to push for Twitch partnership & maybe one day become a full-time streamer.

Charity Streams

48-Hour Charity Stream for Suicide Prevention Australia 2020

October 16 Harrison streamed for 48-hours straight to raise money for Suicide Prevention Australia, a cause very close to his heart. “In light of the world's events this year, I believe that mental health and suicide hasn't been spoken about enough with an increase in over 25% of suicide deaths this year. I've gone through mental health battles myself and have also been impacted by suicide within the past few years, so this is a very close cause to my heart and why I have chosen to support Suicide Prevention Australia.” The charity stream was a huge success surpassing the target milestone of $1,500 & raising a total of $1,677. The charity stream averaged a total of 40 viewers & had over 4,900 unique viewers. Through a tough year we all had been through, it was good to see a lot of people come together to support such a fantastic cause. During the stream Harrison had set milestone goals & hitting $750 meant he had to shave his head into a mullet & at $1,500 he had to shave off his treasured moustache. Harrison currently is still repping the mullet, even though his mother hates it & has grown back his moustache to even longer lengths. In light of Harrison trying to stay awake for 48-hours, Harrison forgot to turn the stream off when falling asleep, waking up to a surprise the next morning when his sister woke him up to 50 people watching him & his dog Sushi sleep in after 48-hours awake.

48-Hour Charity Stream 2021

Harrison is expected to do another 48-hour charity stream in 2021, a date or charity hasn’t been chosen.

Personal Life

School

Harrison was a very good student and liked all children of every (good) race, through-out his school years he has claimed, attending Mill Park Heights Primary School, Mill Park Secondary College & Epping Secondary College. Through-out primary school Harrison excelled in sport & art, he was always at the top of his class for both subjects, he competed in the schools interschool sports program playing in the A-side in all sports including Australian Football, Bat Tennis, Cross-Country, Athletics & Swimming. In high school Harrison started off very well years 7-9 he paid close attention in class & passed with high marks in most subjects. Harrison won the Genuine Endeavour award in 2011 & was middle campus Redleap house captain in 2013. Harrison’s high school was split into two campuses in 2014 Harrison moved to the 10-12 campus where he became easily distracted & didn’t focus on school as much as he did in the past. School became a big effort & something Harrison didn’t enjoy attending. This is when Harrison also found an interest in Youtube to get back to his creative ways & having fun with his life. In year 12, 2016 Harrison moved to Epping Secondary College to complete his VCE certificate. His main reason for the move was to have a fresh start in his final year of schooling & to accompany his sister Siena in her first year in high school. Harrison completed the year to standard & was offered a place at La Trobe University in 2017 to study Sports Management which Harrison deferred. In 2017 & 2018, Harrison completed his Certificate III in Sport & Recreation & Certificate IV in Business from AFL SportsReady.

Sports

Harrison loves his sports, but unfortunately he isn't very good at it, and his women, since a very young age, Harrison has always been running around finding a new sport to play & enjoy. Growing up Harrison played/participated in Australian Football, Swimming, Tennis, Baseball, Cycling, Triathlons & more. Sports gave Harrison a chance to be himself & also keep very competitive. Harrison captained his football team in 2011, won the Division One premiership in 2013 (Which he has promised he’ll watch on stream once he finds the footage) & many more awards/achievements. Harrison went on to Australian Football Umpiring in the Northern Football Netball League where he umpired in the Division One Senior grand final in 2017. In 2018 Harrison trailed at the VFL & unfortunately didn’t make the time trial time of 14:55 mins for a 4km run. In 2017 Harrison also umpired in the AFL International Cup, which had him umpire Great Britain, Ireland, USA, Croatia, South Africa & more. He ended up umpiring the IC17 grand final between New Zealand & Papua New Guinea which was decided by 1 point. Outside of Harrison participating in sports, he has always had a crazy love for both Hawthorn & North Melbourne AFL teams. The reason behind the following of two football clubs is that he was born into following both. Hawthorn is Harrison’s Fathers club while North Melbourne is his Uncle & Aunties, Harrison has a very close relationship with his Uncle & Auntie who have brought Harrison to North Melbourne matches since he was born. He has traveled to many interstate matches for both teams & has continued to show his support through both the good & tough times.

Work

Harrison has worked in a range of fields in his young 22 years of life. In 2012 Harrison worked at his first Australian Open out of 4 (2012-15), working as a Ball-kid for two years, Player Shades & Court Services. He started Australian football umpiring at the Northern Football Netball League in March 2013 for both senior & junior matches. After school Harrison utilised the two years traineeship through AFL SportsReady to work at RMIT University, where after the traineeships he has continued to work & still currently does. Harrison currently still freelance graphic designs & self runs HarrisonJH. Harrison has now stopped his work, and is continuing his dream about being a full time content creator. He is currently failing at this, very hard.
