Harry Snook
Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Harry Snook (1944-2016) was a British artist who worked prolifically in different media – painting, construction, printmaking, collage and photography. He is most renowned for his abstract and surrealist paintings.
He was selected for the Arts Council Touring of Young Contemporaries in 1966.
He taught at the University of Central England, Birmingham as Senior Lecturer in Painting.
Snook’s work has been exhibited in: The Whitechapel, Serpentine and Curwen Galleries in London, the Icon Gallery in Birmingham and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. His work is in the following collections: the Arts Council of Great Britain,[1] Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
