Harsha

Harsha is an 18 year old social entrepreneur and multiple TEDx and international conference speaker. She is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of the Malaysian youth movement, Ascendance, as well as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of StartMyName.com.[1].

Harsha received the Diana Award for Young Changemakers 2019[2] and is currently a distance learning undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy-League university in the United States.

At age 11, Harsha began her entrepreneurial journey through the guidance and exposure to the working world from the social business incubator, ET Ideas. By age 14 she was an international conference speaker who was known as the voice of Generation Z on several international platforms including the Global Social Business Summit 2017, the Asian Institute of Finance 2019 Symposium, the International Association of Volunteer Efforts (IAVE) Regional Conference among others. She has spoken on 3 TEDx Talks on her personal journey[3], Ascendance’s methodology and her journey of forming StartMyName.com.

Harsha has been actively involved in developing Gen Zs across Malaysia, mentoring her fellow Gen Z’s to create sustainable careers while excelling in school through Ascendance, impacting over 2,500+ students nationwide[4]
