Buddhika Harshani Ruman (born May 20,1992) is a Sri Lankan beauty pageant Title holder crowned as Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2016. Harshani Ruman steps in to the industry of modeling in the year of 2015 taking part at her very first beauty pageant "Derana Goya Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2015" by TV Derana Productions, she was able to place 2nd runner up out of the final 12 beauty contestants. The choreographer of Miss Sri Lanka, Brian Kerkoven singled her out and put her under intensive training in all aspects of beauty program along with his co National Director Asanka Atapattu, Harshani was nominated to represent Sri Lanka at Miss Tourism Universe held in Beirut, Lebanon. On September 20th, 2015 Harshani Ruman who hails from Sri Lanka was adjudged as the 2nd Runner Up.
In 2016 Harshani was crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka leading with Miss best figure and Miss Personality awards opens her second international Pageant pathway to represent Sri Lanka in the International arena, Miss Grand International.
Personal Life[edit]
Harshani Ruman was born in Colombo Sri Lanka. She holds a Degree in Business Management and HND in Logistics and supply chain management. She has been volunteering Help Age Sri Lanka at the age of 15, In 2017 World Peace and diplomacy Organization (WPDO) appointed her as a Peace Messenger, SriLanka. and had been a volunteer for Little Hearts Sri Lanka and Fight Cancer Team Sri Lanka.
She worked as a full-time Customer Service and Administration officer in the logistics industry, and modeled as a part-timer, apart from modeling she also was a television presenter of Derana Offmarks Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth 2017, TV Derana and also appeared in Sri Lankan Music Videos.
Harshani is married to Marlon Dons and is currently living in Melbourne, Australia

Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2016[edit]
Harshani Ruman was crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2016 at the Taj Samudra Colombo. She succeeded Ornella Gunesekere who was crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2015. Harshani also won Miss Best Figure and Miss Personality awards. [7]www.facebook.com/harshi.ruman]
Miss Grand International[edit]
Harshani Ruman represented Sri Lanka at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, United States of America but was not able to secure a place. [8]
