Harvard memes
In April 2017, Harvard University rescinded the admission offers to at least 10 incoming freshmen after students were caught sharing obscene internet memes via a Facebook chat group.[1] The memes were shared in a Facebook chat group that was called "Harvard memes for horny bourgeois teens".[1] The Facebook chat group came to be from the official Harvard College Class of 2021 Facebook group. Before rescinding the admission offers, representatives from the Harvard admissions office asked the students in the group chat to send in every photo they had posted to the group chat.[2]
