Harvella Jones is an African-American author, activist, advocate, and entrepreneur.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Jones has been an advocate and activist since 1990. She formulated the Texas Homeowner's Advocate Group, a non-profit unified homeowner advocacy organization, in 1996 with her husband, Johnnie Jones, after getting evicted from their retirement home in Kingwood, Texas, in December 1995.[2][3]

Jones is the President of Richmond, Texas-based The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC.,[2][4][5] established in 2006, which specializes in helping people in legal battles against HOAs and lobbies for homeowner protections.[6][7][4][5]
