Hasan Fırat Diker (born in 1975 in Istanbul, Kadıköy) is a Turkish architect. Dr. Hasan Fırat Diker is one of the leading figures among the Turkish Architects and restorators during the 1990s and 2000s.[1] His publications and academic works center mostly on Hagia Sophia and the Topkapı Palace Museums.

Early life and education[edit]

After graduation from Yıldız Technical University, Dr Hasan Fırat Diker started his work on academic studies on the Topkapı Palace Museum and also the history of the Baghdad Kiosk and restoration projects in Istanbul. Dr Hasan Fırat Diker joined several university lectures and also international organisations like UNESCO meetings as a representative of the Turkish Ministry of Culture.[2]

Hasan Fırat Diker was known for his colorful and ornate style in architecture.[3][4] Hasan Fırat Diker is also known for his recovering of Seraphim Iconas in Hagia Sophia Museum and also 3d scannings of Hagia Sophia's tunnels[5]
