Hausa International Book and Arts Festival is a literary festival that debuted in Kaduna, Nigeria, between October 21 and October 23, 2021.[1]

The Hausa International Book and Arts Festival is an annual festival organized by Open Arts. Open Arts is a literary organization founded by Sada Malumfashi with the overall purpose of promoting arts and creative endeavors, among others in northern Nigeria.[2] The festival was initiated in order to bring to the public some of the best contemporary poetry, African literature, poetry, art, music, etc to numerous across West Africa.[3]

The Hausa International book and Arts Festival is being sponsored by the University of Bristol, UK.[2] The University of Bristol is a British university that is based in the United Kingdom.[4]
