Hayashi International Promotion (H.I.P.) is a Japanese music concert and festival promoter. They have offices in both Tokyo, Japan and Los Angeles, USA, and are the only concert promoter in Japan to promote both Japanese domestic artists and international acts.
History
In its more than 40-year history, H.I.P. has promoted tours for top international artists to come to Japan, including arena and stadium tours for Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Slipknot.
H.I.P. is the proud promoter of Ozzfest Japan, Knotfest Japan, and is very active with renowned Japanese domestic artists such as Ken Hirai, Miliyah Kato, Miyavi, Hi-Standard, Dir En Grey, Maximum The Hormone, Man With A Mission, and many other breakout artists such as Momoiro Clover Z, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, One Ok Rock, and Kana Nishino.
Music Festivals
H.I.P. has promoted Red Bull Live on the Road, both Ozzfest Japan (2013 and 2015) and Knotfest Japan (2014 and 2016) at Makuhari Messe to over 40,000 people per festival, and Air Jam 2016, which sold out 36,000 tickets at Fukuoka Dome.
