Overview[edit]

Healthcanal is an online health news publication, information, and research resource for the public that also publishes reports and surveys including informational content about health issues, nutrition and mental health.[1][2][3] It was founded by Erik Pham who is also CEO of Healthcanal.[4][5]

Healthcanal's studies, reports, and surveys are cited as references in numerous books.[6]

In 2015, a Healthcanal’s article about: “Interventions Lower Diabetes Risk in Women who had Gestational Diabetes“ was featured by National Institute on Minority Health and Disparities.[7][8]

In 2023, Fierce Pharma published an article: “Older adults voice safety, efficacy concerns with COVID boosters as fewer than half take up the shots” based on the Healthcanal survey.[9][10]

Kate Barrington’s appointed as an editor of Healthcanal in 2022.[11]
