Heart FM was an internet radio station owned and operated by TENP Inc. The station was currently online worldwide for broadcast via satellite.

History

In the early 1990s, the station announced its establishment as an internet radio station, which started in 1993. In December 1992, the station started its test broadcast, playing songs before the official launch in 1993.

The station was officially launched in 1993 as PSR: Public Service Radio with a news/talk and public service format. In 1996, it changed to Max FM and switched to an urban adult contemporary station. In 2003, it changed again to Smooth FM with a smooth jazz format. However, it went off the air in 2007 after New Year's Eve 2006.

In November 2008, the station announced it was going back on the air until April 6, 2009 (with an official launch on July 6, 2009) before its test broadcast, after going off the air in December 2006 after New Year's Day 2007, which was announced at a press conference.

On April 6, 2009, the station returned to the airwaves after a month-long test broadcast, after going off air since New Year's Day 2007. It played adult contemporary music, while undergoing changes.

On July 6, 2009, the station was reformatted as Heart FM and finally switched to easy-listening with an Soft AC format. Since then, the station has carried a CHR/Top 40 and K-pop format. However, the playlist was unsuccessful and distracted our listeners, who played songs between programs like Wednesday Classics and Saturday Difference. The two programs were to premiere until 2022 but were not requested after the pandemic. The station management was careful about launching the two programs until 2022 before releasing an official statement along with materials. However, the masa format was not reformatted but OPM songs were dropped.

On November 3, 2013, the station went off air for the next year due to some transmitters being struck during construction, before resuming broadcast due to Bagyong Yolanda, from November 11, 2013 to January 5, 2014. Two months later, it resumed broadcasting on January 6, 2014 after the end of Typhoon Yolanda, which caused the deaths of many victims since November 8, 2013.

However, in September 2018, the station shifted to a Mainstream AC format and aired the sister stations playlist, predominantly playing songs to give listeners around the world an across experience.

On July 6, 2019, the station celebrated its 10th anniversary.

On December 15, 2019, the corporate purchased PHP500 million pesos for taxes after paying taxes equal to PHP100 million pesos, claiming an "understanding of exposes" but misleading with a low budget this year.

On March 18, 2020, the station quietly went off air due to the start of the lockdown for enhanced community quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic. The station resumed broadcasting on June 8, 2020 due to the general community quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic. The station went off air on August 4, 2020 due to the modified enhanced community quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic, from August 19 to 31. It resumed broadcasting on August 31, 2020 due to National Heroes Day, until going off air again on March 29, 2021 due to the anniversary of the pandemic and positive and negative COVID-19 cases during the enhanced community quarantine that started again during Holy Week in April 2021.
