Heartland Co-op

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Heartland Co-op as it is called now was formed in 1987. It is in large part a network of grain elevator terminals located across the state of Iowa. Connecting corn and soybean farmers to centralized grain handling and their corresponding major markets, chemical fertilizers, seed, and other Agronomy services.[1] While some grain elevators that are part of the cooperative have over 100 years of history,[2] new terminals are being built continually.[3]

From the cooperative's formation in 1987 until the end of 2012, Larry Petersen was the Chief Executive Officer.[4] At which time, Tom Hauschel became the new and current CEO.[5]

Currently the cooperative has over 5,400 members at 63 locations around Iowa.[6]

The headquarters is located in 2829 Westown Pkwy. Suite 350, West Des Moines, IA 50266[7]
