“Hearstopper” is a series of graphic novels, created by Alice Oseman. It has recently been turned into a TV show on Netflix. The show stars Kit Connor as the main character of Nick Nelson, and Joe Locke as the main character of Charlie Spring. Heartstopper is a gay romance and is focused on representation of multiple areas. In the show, Charlie Spring is an openly gay student in the all boys school, Trunham. Charlie meets Nick Nelson in his new form. Charlie and Nick become friends, and as the show goes on, Nick begins to question his sexuality and his relationship with Charlie. Heartstopper continues to grow everyday with more fans, and is expected to have two more seasons in upcoming years. There is the fifth and final graphic novel coming out in February of 2023.
