Heat Waves

"Heat Waves", commonly referred to as Heatwaves, is a popular AU fanfiction published by tbhyourelame on AO3, centered around the popular ship 'Dreamnotfound' or 'Dnf', shipping Minecraft Youtubers Dream and Georgenotfound. Despite being archive-locked on AO3, Heatwaves holds the highest number of Hits and Bookmarks and the second highest number of Kudos (second only to the infamous 'I Am Groot' fic). The title originates from Glass Animals' song Heat Waves, as the fic incorporates lyrics of the song and maintains a running motif of hot weather. Many accredit the song's popularity, including its first place success in the 2020 Triple J Hottest 100 music poll, to the popularity of the fanfiction.

As of it's completion in January 2021, the fic consists of 12 chapters.
