Hedgehog Launch is a 2008 Flash puzzle game developed by John Cooney, published by Armor Games. It has been described as Cooney's "breakout hit," dripping with "viral magic".[1][2] It was released on the iPhone in 2010.[3] It has been cited as an early example of an "animal-throwing game" similar to Angry Birds.[4] In an interview with Armor Games, Cooney explained that he decided on making a hedgehog the protagonist based on a silly internet argument with Kongregate's Director of Games.[5]
