Helen Salas
Helen Salas is a beauty pageant titleholder from the United States who placed in the top 5 in both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants.[1] In 2003 Salas entered her first pageant, the Miss Teen Nevada competition, and won the title.[2] In 2006 Salas finished as the first runner-up in the Miss Nevada pageant but went on to compete in the next Miss USA pageant after a scandal involving Katie Rees led to Miss Universe president Paula Shugart and Miss Universe Organization owner Donald Trump stripping Rees of her title.[3]
