Helgoländer Wörterbuch

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". The Helgoländer Wörterbuch is a dictionary of the Helgolandic variety of the North Frisian language.

The dictionary was started by Willy Krogmann in 1950 on behalf of the Academy of Science and Literature in Mainz. From 1968 Nils Århammar continued to work on the dictionary for a short time after Krogmann died in 1967. After his retirement in 1996, he and his wife Ritva Århammar resumed work on the dictionary. However, to this day, the dictionary remains unfinished.[1]

Five deliveries of the dictionary appeared between 1957 and 1968, which means that the word range of A to L are available. There is also a detailed introduction.
