Hellointern
HelloIntern is a common online portal[1] for students who are looking for internships[2][3][4] and companies[2] who want to hire interns. It is based in Hyderabad, India and is a part of a knowledge initiative by Angaros Group[5].
History
HelloIntern was incubated by four students at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) in the year 2006. The ideology was to increase the number of internship opportunities for students and companies. Later, in the year 2012, it was acquired by Angaros Group.
Partnership
Some of the partnering colleges with HelloIntern are Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), Faculty of Management Studies Delhi (FMS), Indian Institute of Technology[2] (IIT- Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Banaras Hindu University, Jodhpur, Guwahati, Allahabad, Hyderabad), Christ University Bengaluru, BITS Pilani (Pilani, Dubai, Goa, Hyderabad), Jaipuria Institute of Management, Narsee Monjee Institute (NMIMS), Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), National Institute of Technology[2] (NIT- Patna, Raipur, Trichy, Karnataka, Agartala, Jalandhar).
Initiative
It runs a program called ‘Global Internship Program’[6][7][8] and hence, bridges the gap between foreign students and Indian companies.
