Henderson Village is a resort country inn located in central Georgia about one mile off Interstate 75, and eleven miles south of Perry, Georgia.[4] The resort has a rose garden with a gazebo, hunting grounds. The Wimberly Event Center is also on-site, as a facility for large events and business conferences.[2][3] It has one restaurant on-site, the Langston House Restaurant,[1][5] which was recognized in the Georgia Trend's 2004 Silver Spoon Awards.[5]
History[edit]
Bernhard Schneider purchased the land that Henderson Village is currently sitting on in 1979.[1][6] Following the purchase of a home on the property in 1994, he acquired homes on the property.[1] He opened them as a bed and breakfast in 1998, when there was six tenant cottages and four homes.[1] Today there are 24 rooms total.
