Hendricus Josephus Franciscus Thijsen (30 July 1881 – 10 October 1946) was a Dutch gymnast who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics.[1] He was part of the Dutch gymnastics team, which finished seventh in the team event. In the individual all-around competition he finished 83rd.[2]
Thijsen won the men's pommel horse at the 1903 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp in a three-way tie with Frenchmen Joseph Lux and Georges Dejagere.[3] There was not to be another Dutch world champion in gymnastics until Yuri van Gelder won the rings in 2005.[4][5]
