Hendrith Vanlon Smith, Jr. (Born August 15, 1989 in Daytona Beach, Florida) is the CEO of Mayflower-Plymouth, a multi-national capital holdings and consulting firm.

Early Life[edit]

Hendrith Vanlon Smith Jr was born in Daytona Beach Florida to mother Marie J. Smith and father Hendrith V.A. Smith on August 15, 1989. Smiths parents were law school students at the time of his birth and he spend the first 3 years of his childhood in Freeport Bahamas with his paternal Bahamian grandparents.


Smith's childhood was spend between The Bahamas, Maryland, Washington DC, and Florida. His parents moved every few years, usually career related.

When Smith was about 6 years old, his parents founded and led a law firm called Smith & Smith which was located Capitol Hill in Washington DC. The firm was a successful one that lasted for several years until his f

father was removed from the d DCue audispute iscbetween his father and a client of the fim by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.[1]

On June 14, 2019, [12]Hendrith filed to run for Congress as a Democrat in the 9th Congressional District of Florida, challenging incumbent Darren Soto in the 2020 United States House of Representatives elections in Florida. His committee is 'Hendrith Smith for Congress'[13] as reported by the Washington Times[14] and Politics1.[15] An independent news article was released on June 16 disclosing the campaign. [16] Smiths 2020 campaign ended in October, as reported by Florida Politics news outlet.[17]
