Henry Blackburn

Henry Blackburn (1830–1897) was a British art critic. He edited a number of illustrated guidebooks to the major annual exhibitions in late nineteenth-century London, such as Academy Notes (1875–96) and Grosvenor Notes (1877–82). The former series, which was originated and long conducted by the late Mr. Henry Blackburn, continued after his death.[1]
