Henry Gross
Henry Gross, born July 21, 1813, was an inventor in rifles[1] and lock and safe work. He is primarily known for his contributions to the Hall's Safe & Lock Co. where he was employed for a time and invented locks, time locks, and burglar proof safes.[2]
After leaving the Hall's Safe & Lock Co. over a reported disputes in regards to royalties[3] he went on to work for the Chicago Safe & Lock Co.
