Background[edit]

Here Be Lions was founded in 2017 by pastor, worship leader, and songwriter Dustin Smith (“God Moves The Mountains'', “Miracles”). The band is made up of Dustin Smith on vocals and keys, Jeanna Smith on vocals, James Galbraith on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Weedman on drums, Jordan Clause on bass guitar, and Gardner McGregor on guitar and vocals.

Here Be Lions takes its name from the ancient mapping tradition in which explorers marked unknown, dangerous territory with a symbol and the phrase "Here Be Lions."  Originally meant as a warning, the phrase has become a call for the Here Be Lions team to advance God's kingdom and authority.
