Heritier Luvualu is a Congolese-born left winger who turns out for Kenyan National Super League side Nairobi City Stars from April 2019.
He was first introduced to top tier Kenyan football back in 2011 after being signed by 2009 Kenyan Premier League Champions Sofapaka as one of many foreigners. [1] [2] He served the side for two seasons till the end of 2012 [3] after which it was announced he was off to Angola to join an unknown top flight side. [4] [5]
After two seasons - 2013 and 2014 - he was back at Sofapaka from January 2015 for yet another stab at the club. [6] [7]
In mid 2016 he left Sofapaka [8] to join Premiership side Ushuru F.C. [9] till the end of the season. [10] [11] [12]
In January 2017 he moved to second tier side Nairobi City Stars after being roped in by coach Robert Matano. Their affair at the club lasted for six months [13] as, during the mid transfer window of June, Matano moved to another second tier side Bidco United and he tagged along with the Congolese hitman. [14]
Luvualu stayed at Bidco United for a year till the mid transfer window of 2018 where he upscaled back to the Premier League by joining Thika United to the end of the season in October. [15] [16]
He returned to Bidco for the beginning of the shortened 2018/9 but during the mid transfer window of April 2019 he made a grand return to City Stars.
