- Several sources are entirely about Hermitcraft or events on Hermitcraft, and still more have at least the two paragraphs of coverage reccomended by Wikipedia:Common sourcing mistakes (notability).

Hermitcraft is an invite-only survival multiplayer (SMP)[2] Minecraft server and YouTube series, created in 2012[3] by YouTuber Generikb[4], and is currently on its ninth season. [5]A "vehicle for collaborative storytelling,"[4] it features top Minecraft YouTubers including Xisumavoid, EthosLab, Grian, and MumboJumbo.[6][7][8] A Hermitcraft Livestream weekend is held about twice a month, where multiple members of the server take turns to livestream from the server. [9]
Hermitcraft, a stalwart[4] Minecraft series, is one of the oldest Minecraft SMPs featured on YouTube[6], and the oldest active Minecraft SMP.

Impact[edit]
Hermitcraft has been featured at Minecon, the annual interactive Minecraft live stream and fan convention hosted by Minecraft developer Mojang, in 2016,[13] 2018,[14] and 2019.[15]
In May 2020, Hermitcraft members Rendog and Grian held a charity livestream on the Hermitcraft server in support of the SOS Africa Children's Charity, drawing nearly 700,000 viewers and raising over £80,000 (nearly R2 million) for the SOS Africa COVID-19 Food Relief Appeal.[16] A second annual livestream was held in May 2021, featuring GoodTimesWithScar and BdoubleO100 as well as Grian and Rendog on the Hermitcraft server.[17]I
Hermitcraft has also teamed up with Make-A-Wish Foundation in November 2018 and September 2021. In 2018, Sebastian, known online as Duke Da Dog, a child diagnosed with cancer, played alongside Hermits for a day on the sixth season of Hermitcraft. In 2021, a child known online as PillBug9, a child with an unrevealed disease, played alongside Hermits in the ninth season of Hermitcraft.[18]
