Background[edit]
In a Loudwire interview, David Draiman explained that the song was inspired by the discourse over handling the COVID pandemic.[1]
In Revolver Magazine he also stated: It's a wakeup call. We've become our own worst enemies. Civil discourse has become the exception instead of the norm. People have lost themselves in outrage addiction.[2]
