Hiawatha Phifer (born February 16, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona) now known as Hiawatha Street is a former American football defensive back of the Arena Football League. He played college football at Western Illinois University. Phifer played professionally for the St. Louis Stampede, Iowa Barnstormers, Peoria Pirates (IFL), and the Quad City Steamwheelers(AF2). He started in Arena Bowl XI in a loss to the Arizona Rattlers in 1997, but went on to win Back to Back af2 titles with the Steamwheelers in 2000 and 2001. Phifer was a starter for the Steamwheelers who posted an undefeated 19-0 2000 season and put on a encore performance in 2001 going 18-1 capturing a second title.
