The Highland Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps is an all-age drum and bugle corps based in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.[1], competing in Drum Corps Associates Class A. It was founded in 2016 and approved for DCA competition in 2018[2].
About[edit]
Highland Regiment "draws its inspiration from the musical and pageantry traditions of the Scottish highlands, striking landscapes that have influenced the culture of that area for centuries"[1]. The director wanted to create an organization where members can have "opportunities to make friendships that last"[2]. Many of the founding members were previously members of the Bayonne Bridgemen drum and bugle corps or its alumni corps[2].
