Highway is the second Studio Album by The Sobas, producer by Sim Kaye. Although the album Take Me Back was only 3 months ago, this album is a lot more different since the last album was written by Fraser Kaye and Highway was written by Sim Kaye
Highway is a Progressive Rock/Pop album inspired by the bands Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons Project and Genesis, since Fraser Kaye also wanted this album to be a Grunge album tensions rose between Sim and Fraser through the recording and it lead to a fight in the studio which caused the band to divide for 2 months.
in May 2025, the band got back together, signed up with Arista (This was The Sobas’ first album with Arista) and finished the album.
Sim and Fraser was also divided to two with Fraser writing “Take Me Back” and Sim writing “Highway” too.
