Himal Dharmarathna
Himal Dharmarathna is a Sri Lankan television editor and sound designer known for his work in Sinhala television teledramas. He has received awards for editing and sound design at Sri Lankan television award ceremonies.
Career
Dharmarathna began his career as a television editor with the teledrama Athkanda Lihiniya.
He received the Best Editor award at the Raigam Tele'es Awards in 2011 for Athkanda Lihiniya.[1]
In 2015, he received the Best Editor award at the Raigam Tele'es Awards for the teledrama Daskon.[2]
In 2018, he won the Best Teledrama Editor award at the Sumathi Awards for Sri Raja.[3]
In the same year, he received the Best Sound Designer award at the State Television Arts Awards for Sri Raja.[4]
In addition to television productions, Dharmarathna has worked on Sinhala music video productions.
