The Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha (hindi: हिन्दू धर्म आचार्य सभा, abbr: HDAS), is an integrated organization of leading saints of all sects, cults and creeds of the Hindu dharma.[2][unreliable source?] It is the highest council of authorities on Hindu Dharma. All four Shankaracharyas and renowned saints of major mathas are part of this institute.
Formation[edit]
Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji is known as the founder convener of this organisation.[1][3]
The chairman of Acharya Sabha is Junapeethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri.[4][5]
Convener and secretary-general of Acharya Sabha is Parmatmanand Saraswati Ji and Guru Sharanananda Ji is the patron.[6]
Objective[edit]
Acharya Sabha is devoted to the pervasion and rise of the Sanatan Vaidik Hindu Dharma.[7]
Initiatives[edit]
- HDAS has been taking initiative for the Hindu Jewish Summits since 2007.[8][9]
- In 2016, the 'Meeting of Israel-Asia Faith Leaders',[10] an Asian Interfaith Conference was organised by the Israeli MFA with the partnership of the American Jewish Committee and the World Council of Religious Leaders in 2016.[11][12][13]
