The development of the live music industry and movies pushed sound technology from its very humble beginnings into quite technically advanced systems that were used in the event industry. Here we will discuss, all the old and latest terminology of all sound speakers. Where Audio Technology Start

The Acoustic Era To 1925:[edit]

1- The latest speaker traces its origin to as far back as 1861 when German researcher and inventor Johann Philipp Reis installed an electric loudspeaker in a phone prototype that he was inventing. 2- After fifteen years, Alexander Graham Bell licensed his first electric loudspeaker which, unlink Reis, was capable of reproducing intelligible speech as a feature of the phone that he was designing. 3- In 1877, Bell's design became an inspiration for the creation by another noted German scientist, Erns Siemens. The sound quality was very poor, and amplification was just about unworkable at low volume. 4- Today the first loudspeaker to be driven by a moving coil commonly called Dynamic Loudspeakers was invented by a British Physicist named Oliver Lodge in 1898. But it was not until, Danish Engineer Peter Jensen and his business partner, Edwin Pridham, worked altogether in 1915 that the first practical dynamic audio speakers were invented.

The first genuine portable music player that would change the way we listened to music in a way that no other gadget really had ever done previously.

In 1990, Dolby proposed a five-channel surround-sound plan for home theater frameworks. The advanced and experiential time had started and digital audio systems were quickly replacing analog systems. In this modern era, the first portable MP3 device was launched in 1997. The launch of advanced audio players along with P2P applications made it simple for people to carry around hundreds of songs in their pockets.
