HitPay is a Singapore-based financial technology company that provides payment infrastructure for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Asia-Pacific region.[1] The company offers payment acceptance tools for online and in-person transactions, including invoicing, recurring billing, and integrations with e-commerce platforms.[1] HitPay is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution.[2]
History
HitPay was founded in Singapore in 2016 by Aditya Haripurkar.[1] The company participated in Y Combinator, where it received early backing.[3]

Platform and products
HitPay provides payment services for SMEs, including online and in-person payment acceptance, invoicing, recurring billing, and integrations with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce.[1][7]
The company supports local payment methods in Southeast Asia alongside card networks and digital wallets.[7] In January 2026, HitPay introduced Borderless QR, a service for accepting QR-based payments from visitors using overseas payment schemes, including GrabPay, WeChat Pay, PromptPay, GCash and DuitNow.[8][9]
Apple announced the availability of Tap to Pay on iPhone in Singapore in December 2025 and in Malaysia in April 2026, listing HitPay among the supported payment platforms in both markets.[10][11]
HitPay has also expanded into cross-border payments and regional payment method integrations. In 2025, the company partnered with NPCI International to support acceptance of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Singapore.[12]
In 2026, HitPay launched a remittance API for cross-border payouts in Asia.[13]
