Hobuchandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri is a Bengali Drama film, directed by Aniket Chattapadhyay, produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and presented by Dev Adhikari and Gurupada Adhikari. Saswata Chatterjee, Kharaj Mukherjee and Arpita Chatterjee are acting in the lead roles. This film is based on two stories Hobuchandra Raja Gobuchandra Mantri and Dadamosiyer Thole written by Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majaumder. This film will be released on 1 May 2020.
Plot[edit]
The film revolves around a state where king Hobuchandra and his mantris live happily. But one day a new mantra comes in the state. All the problems start from then. The new mantri tells the king that his state is in a bad financial state. Also we see a guru and a sishya comes to the town. But they soon realize that the state runs on the new mantri's command. He also imagines to be the king in the future. The guru leaves the state angrily but the sishya stays. Then one day that sishya is caught by the mantri by wrong connection. How he is saved that is the story of the film.
