Hog Wild
Comment: For a subject to qualify for an article, we need published independent reliable sources to cover it. This typically takes the form of news articles, books, published film reviews etc. In this article, the only sources are tv listings, which aren’t the sources we’re looking for. Are there any published sources you can find about this film? Bungle491 (talk) 00:53, 6 October 2026 (UTC)
Hog Wild is a 1974 American television film produced by Walt Disney Productions for The Wonderful World of Disney. It was directed by Jerome Courtland and aired on NBC in two parts on January 20 and January 27, 1974.[1][2]
The film was written by Gabe Essoe and based on a work by Julia Ridle Mathieu.[3]
The film was rebroadcast on August 6 and August 13, 1978.[4][5]
Contemporary newspaper listings described Hog Wild as the story of a Chicago family moving to an Idaho pig ranch, where the father is injured by a sow from a rival ranch.[6][7]
