Hoid
Hoid is a fictional character that appears in Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books, including The Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, Warbreaker, and Elantris[1]. He is often in unexpected places throughout the novels, usually in disguise, including as a beggar delivering supplies for an army[2], a fool trying to steal a work of art[3], an informant[4], and a jester for a king[5]. He has many magical powers and abilities and seems to be attempting to gain new ones for an unknown reason[6].
