Holy Family Medical Center is a 178-bed long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) located in Des Plaines, Illinois. The facility provides extended inpatient medical and rehabilitative care for patients with complex and chronic health conditions. It operates as part of Prime Healthcare Services, a national health system that acquired the hospital in 2020.[1]
The hospital was originally established in 1961 and historically affiliated with Resurrection Health Care, later Presence Health, before becoming part of Prime Healthcare.[2]
Holy Family Medical Center includes emergency services and serves patients from across the northwest suburban region of Chicago. It is one of the few long-term acute care hospitals operating in Cook County, Illinois.[3]
